Guides

Share with confidence, not guesswork.

Short, practical guidance for contributors using DealDigger and Amazon affiliate tracking.

1. Generate a DealDigger share page

Login, open the link generator, paste the full Amazon product URL and choose the tracking ID assigned to you for that marketplace. DealDigger returns a customer-facing product page URL — that is the link you share.

2. What happens when the ASIN already exists?

The existing product record is reused. DealDigger does not add another copy of the same marketplace + ASIN. Your own secure share link is created or reused against your tracking ID.

3. What your customer sees

The product page shows the product image, title, stored price, the required price/availability notice, a “View on Amazon” button, and an affiliate disclosure. The raw tracking URL stays behind the button.

4. Use the correct marketplace

Only marketplaces currently enabled by the administrator can generate new share pages. If a country is disabled, its API configuration is preserved for future use but contributors cannot generate links for it until it is switched back on.

5. Keep disclosures clear

DealDigger includes an affiliate disclosure on product share pages. Contributors should still follow Amazon Associates requirements and any disclosure rules that apply to the channel where they publish the link.

6. Price and availability

Amazon can change price, stock and offer details at any time. Treat the Amazon product page as the final source of truth.
